Welcome to the Central New York Hackathon website. The CNY Hackathon is a regional intercollegiate offensive/defensive cybersecurity competition held at the end of each Fall semester designed to improve the state of computer science and cybersecurity education, and more closely align academia with Central New York industry partners. Students participate in challenges that task each team with penetrating a target to take control or defending their systems from attackers in order to maintain control.
The Fall 2023 event will be held ON-CAMPUS on November 10th and 11th. The two-day event will kickoff at 4pm on Friday with a series of security related presentations conducted by industry professionals, followed by a fun team-building challenge. Team rooms will open at 8:30am Saturday with the competition portion of the event beginning promptly at 9am and running until 5pm.
