Welcome to the Central New York Hackathon website. The CNY Hackathon is a regional intercollegiate offensive/defensive cybersecurity competition held at the end of each Fall and Spring semester designed to improve the state of computer science and cybersecurity education, and more closely align academia with Central New York industry partners. Students participate in challenges that task each team with penetrating a target to take control or defending their systems from attackers in order to maintain control.
The Spring 2017 event will be held at Utica College on April 21st & 22nd. The two day event will kickoff at 4PM on Friday with a series of security related presentations conducted by industry professionals. The competition portion of the event will begin promptly at 9am on Saturday and run until 5pm.
